The Himalayan Group Of Professional Institutions, College Of Nursing  is established in the year of 2009 and approved by Indian Nursing Council New Delhi and government of Himachal Pradesh and affiliated by Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla and ATAL Medical and Research University, Mandi and recognized by HPNRC  Shimla .

Himalayan Group of Professional Institutions, college of Nursing (HGPI) which deals in nursing courses and  is located Near Kissan Bhawan, Cinema Road, Joginder Nagar Distt. Mandi Himachal Pradesh. This college is managed by Trust Management.

HGPI is dedicated to providing its students with an education that combines systemic academic study and the excitement of discovery with the support and intellectual stimulation of a diverse campus community, we seek to develop in each member of the HGPI community the ability and passion to work wisely, and effectively for the betterment of mankind and having independent training placement cell. The HGPI provides good infrastructure facility to students. It also provides hostel facilities within the college campus for girls.

The nearest Railway Station (Joginder Nagar) and bus stand from the (HGPI) are at a distance of 1 kilometer and 0.5 kilometers respectively. This would enable students to reach the college within a maximum time span of 10 minutes. Also the city has many food joints and multiplexes where students can go for entertainment taking time out of their hectic schedules.
